Background

A study was carried out to assess how pregnant women's nausea and vomiting were influenced by ginger and lime stew.

Method

Using a purposive sampling approach, 18 pregnant women in the first trimester who were emetic were included in this trial, a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test design. Using Pregnancy-Unique Quantification of Emesis (PUQE)-24, the collection of data was done. Using the Wilcoxon test, data analysis was performed.

Result

According to the findings, treating pregnant women with ginger and lime boiled water reduced their likelihood of experiencing nausea and vomiting during the first trimester.

Conclusion

Pregnant women may use ginger and lime boiled water to minimize the frequency of nausea and vomiting.
